CityCard

After signing a memorandum of cooperation between Lupon Ventures and Ministry of Transport inOctober 2015, Lupon Ventures launched the first pilot project of electronic bus ticketing system named "CityCard" in a commercial city route Dobrinja - City Hall in April 2016.

CityCard is contactless MIFARE card type which represents the most advanced smart card technology that uses high-level security protocols, all in accordance with the international standard ISO 14443.

Based on Philips MF1ICS50 chip solution,  the card is an ideal solution for systems in need of reliable and efficient memory card as well as for systems with built-in safeguards such as ticketing and ticket control system in public transport, electronic payment system, registration and control of working hours. CityCard card stores specific types of data related to the card serial number that indicate the type of card and prepaid amounts for certain municipal routes. It's also possible to refill the card and transfer funds from one to another in case of card loss.

The implementation of electronic ticketing system for the entire urban and suburban traffic in Sarajevo is planned to be done in the future period.
